Mike Jordan Dip PFS
Independent Financial Adviser
Mike is a former police officer, and Managing Director of Jordan Financial Management Ltd. He is a Member of the Personal Finance Society and Society of Will Writers, and holds the Diploma qualification in Financial Planning. He has provided independent financial advice for over 25 years. Renowned for his industry comment, Mike is a keen supporter of local causes (see articles), in particular his old school of King Edwards, Aston (the “Michael Jordan 6th Form Centre” is so named due to his financial support). His breadth of knowledge of financial products and planning has helped some 1,500 clients make better use of their money, including the writing of their Wills and Inheritance Tax planning. Mike has a support team with a collective experience in the Financial Services industry of over 50 years.
Outside of work, Mike enjoys family time, keeping fit, old cars, collecting analogue synthesisers, and is one of the organisers of the Birmingham Festival of Electronic Music.
Neil Currier Dip PFS
Independent Financial Adviser
Neil has worked as a Financial Adviser since 1999 and has been at Jordan Financial Management since its inception, providing high-quality independent financial advice to clients. During his time at Jordan FM, Neil has built strong relationships with his clients who value his time and expertise. Neil provides honest and straight forward advice in an easy to understand manner.
Neil is a keen cyclist and enjoys playing racket sports. He also enjoys a round of golf when time allows and he’s not ferrying his children to football or gymnastics!
Rebecca Jackson
Technical Personal Assistant to Neil Currier
Rebecca has been a member of the Jordan FM team for over 19 years in her role as Senior Administrator to Neil Currier. Rebecca has worked in the industry for over thirty years and has a wealth of administration experience.
In her spare time Rebecca enjoys films, reading, eating out and holidays.
John McHugh M.A. (Cantab.) APFS, Chartered Financial Planner
Independent Financial Adviser
John is a fully qualified independent financial adviser and member of the Personal Finance Society. He takes a long-term view on planning and strongly values building good relationships with clients. John came to Jordan FM in 2002 and 2004 for work experience, after which he went onto Cambridge University. After graduating with a 2:1, he worked for the Metropolitan Police in London. Following this, he worked in China where he learnt Mandarin Chinese. John then re-joined Jordan Financial Services in 2017, working closely with Mike Jordan.
John enjoys reading and doing outdoor activities, including skiing, canoeing and sailing, with his wife and daughter.
Chris Jones Dip PFS
Independent Financial Adviser
Chris is a fully qualified independent financial adviser and member of the Personal Finance Society. Chris joined Jordan FM in 2019 getting involved with all aspects of the business and developing his knowledge and skills. Chris advises clients, applying his breadth of knowledge and technical experience to support clients with their ongoing financial needs to help them achieve their financial goals.
Chris is a passionate foodie and has several keen interests such as motorsport, music of all genres and travel.
Debbie Haycock
Administration Support to Mike Jordan
Debbie has work with Mike in the financial services industry since 1996 and joined Jordan FM when it opened in 2001. Debbie assists Mike Jordan & John McHugh in all elements of administration work and has developed great client relationships during her time with the business.
Being a busy Mom of three boys, when she’s not cheering from the pitch side-lines, Debbie enjoys long walks in the park with her dog, exercise classes and family holidays.
Gemma Culbert
Senior Financial Planning Co-ordinator
Gemma is a Team Manager and has been with Jordan FM for over 10 years. During this time she has developed strong relationships with Mike’s clients and enjoys being able to assist them with their financial planning. She holds financial Planning Certificates 1 & 3 and has a BTEC Team Leading qualification.
Gemma is a busy Mom of two children and spends her spare time taking them to dance and martial arts clubs. Gemma enjoys breaks with her family to the UK coastline.
Sarah West
Paraplanner
Sarah has worked in financial services since 1992, both in an advice role and paraplanning.
She is a Diploma qualified member of the London Institute of Banking and Finance and a Paraplanner for Jordan Financial Management.
She works closely with advisers in reviewing and analysing their clients’ needs and objectives and preparing our written recommendations to tailor these to each client’s unique circumstances.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys reading and getting lost in Sutton Park!
Janette Madge
Receptionist and Administration Support
Jan has worked at Jordan FM for several years in a full-time administration role, she currently works part-time as receptionist / administrator and she is the first point of contact for our clients. She holds the full Financial Planning Certificate and is CEMAP qualified.
Jan enjoys her trips to Florida and would like to continue travelling to that area. She loves animals and used to rescue unwanted rabbits and at one time had twelve to look after! These days she prefers a quieter life and helps to look after her daughter’s Otterhound which they take to Game Fairs across the Country to raise awareness of the native breed’s vulnerable status.
James Jordan Bsc
Trainee Adviser
James studied Banking and Finance Bsc at Cardiff University. He has recently joined the business full-time with the aim of moving into an advisory role after successfully studying for the regulated financial planning diploma over the next couple of years. James has currently taken on a paraplanner/trainee adviser role as he completes his studies and gets to know the business better.
James has a keen interest in motorsports, enjoys watching Aston Villa (sometimes!), and likes playing the guitar
Lenny Harley Msc
Trainee Adviser
Lenny recently joined the business full-time after spending the last four years at Cardiff University, where he graduated from his master’s degree with a distinction. Lenny has taken on a paraplanner/trainee adviser role whilst he studies for the regulated financial planning diploma and becomes accustomed with the business.
Lenny is a keen linguist and sports enthusiast, and his hobbies include travelling abroad to practice his foreign language skills and playing sports.
